Binnen LabdeMed werken een aantal specialisten die hun sporen ruimschoots verdiend hebben.
Dhr. Rudy A.E. Le Blanc, MMSc MBA
Laboratorium directeur, klinisch chemicus
Dhr. Le Blanc behaalde in 1993 zijn Master of Medical Science in Clinical Chemistry graad aan de Emory University School of Medicine te Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. In 2018 behaalde hij aan de Goizueta Business School van dezelfde universiteit zijn Master of Business Administration graad.
Dhr. Le Blanc trad in 2012 aan als algemeen directeur bij LabdeMed. Daarvoor werkte hij o.a. als staflid en klinisch biochemicus op de afdeling Chemie/Haematologie van het Landslaboratorium waar hij speciaal belast was met de organisatie van de poliklinische activiteiten. Van 1993 tot en met 2012 heeft dhr. Le Blanc diverse posities bekleed als laboratorium management consulent, directeur, staflid en docent bij diverse instanties op Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire en Suriname. Daarnaast droeg hij de verantwoordelijkheid voor het Landslaboratorium Bonaire. Verder was hij van 2003 tot 2015 als hoofd laboratorium en consulent verbonden aan het Fundashon Mariadal ziekenhuis te Bonaire.
Dhr. Le Blanc staat geregistreerd als:
- Clinical Chemist bij de National Registry of Certified Chemists (NRCC).
- Clinical Laboratory Scientist bij de National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel Inc.
- Medical Technologist bij de American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Dhr. Dr. Eddy G. Balentien
Klinisch Immunoloog
Dhr. Eddy G. Balentien behaalde in 1985 zijn Master of Science graad in Clinical Immunology en vervolgens in 1990 zijn Doctor of Philosophy graad in Experimental Pathology aan de Emory University School of Medicine te Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Hij vervolgde dit met een Fellowship in Clinical Immunopathology bij de Presbyterian University Hospital te Pittsburgh.
Van 1991 tot aan 1999 was Dr. Balentien werkzaam als hoofd van de afdeling Immunologie van het Landslaboratorium. Sinds zijn aantreden bij LabdeMed is hij belast met Research & Development, alsook met kwaliteitsborging.
