At LABdeMED, we provide accurate and discreet DNA testing to help confirm biological relationships with care and understanding. We know this process can be emotional or personal, so we make it as simple, supportive, and confidential as possible from start to finish.

Paternity Test

Our paternity testing is straightforward, private, and handled with the utmost care. Appointments are required, and all parties have to be physically present.
Each person should bring a valid Photo ID (sedula, driver’s license, or passport).

Important Information

If a child is being tested:
For minors (under 18): The mother or legal guardian
must be present to sign for the child.

For children under 12:
Please bring a birth certificate that is not older than 3 months.


Results:
Ready in about 3 weeks
Delivered in person only for privacy
Once your results are ready, we will call you to set up a time to pick them up


Important:
No blood is needed. We use a quick, gentle oral swab to collect DNA.

Other DNA Test

Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test (NIPP)
A safe and simple way to determine paternity as early as 8 weeks of pregnancy.
This test uses a small blood sample from the mother and a DNA sample from the alleged father with no risk to the baby.

Maternity Test
Confirms the biological relationship between a mother and child.
Commonly used for immigration, adoption, or legal documentation.

Grandparentage Test
Used when the alleged father is unavailable (for example, deceased or not in the picture).
Helps confirm a child’s connection to the father’s side of the family.

• Siblingship Test
Determines whether two individuals share one or both biological parents when the parents are unavailable for testing.

• Avuncular Test (Aunt/Uncle Test)
When a parent cannot be tested, an aunt or uncle may be tested instead.
Often used when the alleged parent is unavailable or deceased.

• Post-Mortem Viability Test
Used to confirm a biological relationship with someone who has passed away.
Requires a DNA sample from the deceased, usually collected before burial.
